Class Format

Erin offers three different class formats:

1) Babies - For Infants Age 0-6 months. Perfect for newborns and their grownups, the class recalls childhood folk favorites, teaches new songs and lullabies, and explores developmental activities to learn with your baby. Babies can listen, feel, and remember melody; and musical experiences are integral to a baby's sensory, language, social-emotional, physical, cognitive, and holistic development. Connect with other newborn families and delight in this comforting musical time with your little one.

2) Preschoolers.  A music class packed with joyful music making, singing games, and experiences with steady beat and musical comparatives like loud/quiet, fast/slow, high/low, and long/short.  Together, we build a foundation for music literacy, a love for our singing voices, and confidence as emerging musicians.

3) Family.  These classes are open to children ages 0-5 and include children's favorite songs from traditional and folk songs to rock, jazz, and world music. Full of singing, dancing, instrument playing, these classes invite your little one to enter the imaginative world of music making. As children explore this world with their caregivers, they strengthen important social, linguistic, and kinesthetic skills-- and develop a lifelong love of music!
